JIM Corbett Tiger Safari
Nestled in Nainital, Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett is one of the most famous tiger reserves in India. Every year, tourists flock here in large numbers to catch a sighting of the majestic striped big cat. And the big cat that calls these grasslands home is not just any but the Royal Bengal Tiger.
Jim Corbett is also home to a wide variety of other animal life forms. On a safari through the lush and dense forests, you can expect to spot leopards, crocodiles, elephants, a variety of deer, mongoose, sloth, and jungle cats, among others. If you are lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the colossal Indian python or the majestic King Cobra. The avian population is also healthy and includes vultures, eagles, and owls.
A safari in Jim Corbett is truly an experience of a lifetime and indeed perfectly exemplifies a walk on the wild side.

Tour Itinerary

Arrival at Ramnagar → Transfer to Resort → Safari at Jhirna / Bijrani
Upon arriving at Ramnagar, guests are transferred to the hotel. We check in, freshen up, and head out immediately for the first safari of the trip. This safari occurs in Jhirna / Bijrani. We return to the resort for a hearty breakfast and then once again go on the next safari – a transit safari – to the Dhikala zone. Indeed, there’s not a dull moment for between these two safaris, you are sure to make some exciting animal sightings. Lunch will be served at Dhikala post which you will head on an actual safari at Dhikala. The day comes to an end with dinner and a discussion on the wonderful sightings of the day.

Two Tiger Safaris at Jim Corbett
We start the day early and track tigers on the first morning safari with the help of local experts and pugmarks. We return for a scrumptious lunch and then immediately set out on the next safari. Apart from tigers, we also aim to spot leopards and elephants. The day comes to a close with a delicious dinner and friendly banter about the sightings.

Morning Safari → Check Out → Transit Safari
The final day of the trip also starts off with a lot of action as we head out to try to spot a few more mammals and birds before saying goodbye. We return to have a yummy breakfast after which we check out of the resort. This is followed by a transit safari between Dhikala and Ramnagar where you may get lucky and spot some more wildlife. We have dinner at Ramnagar after which guests can board their trains home.
